Memento Mori
Meaning "Remember your death", Memento Mori is the Latin phrase for the practice of remembering the inevitability of death. Morose? It can be.
Too often I've attended funerals of friends and loved ones and it always makes me consider my own passing. More than that, I consider how I can live life to the fullest. That's what the practice invites us to do.
End of Life Portraits offer the same opportunity. Not only are they a reminder of those who've passed and their lives - helping you through your grief, they can inspire us to live our lives to the fullest here and now; to go with the ebb and flow of life and to find the riches and immerse in the beauty and experiences that life has to offer.
